When Rosie first began Casa Herrick, her mother was very ill. She needed to find a way to make extra money to help her mother. It all started when Rosie converted her garage into a place where she could host various students.
Her mission was to help people, especially ones in her community. Her help would be through counseling and helping them get back on their feet. When someone gets into Transitional or Low-income housing it helps them get back on their feet and into society. Rosie wants to leave seeds in her community to help those who need it.
Rosie has many principles and values including honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty, diversity, and doesn't discriminate.
